Yellowstone, 1962

What this blog needs is more bears. Seriously, why are so many cars named after big cats (Cougar, Cheetah, Tiger) and other wildlife (Cobra, Mangusta, Impala, Falcon), but none come to mind that have bear-related names. Ursus? Grizzly? Bruin? C’mon, these are all awesome names. Anyway. Best way to get bears in the blog, then, is with some more Yellowstone National Park photos in our carspotting series, like the one above from 1962 and the ones below from the 1950s and 1960s, all from Yellowstone’s photo collection page.
