Record keeping is the unsung skill of hot rodding. Settle that knee-jerk reaction to toss instructions and paperwork in the trash, says Classic Trucks‘ Ryan Manson. Staying organized means more than just keeping 9/16th sockets stocked, it means creating a paper trail on your project. “When I’m unboxing everything, I’ll throw all the paperwork into one place — instructions, invoices, everything,” Ryan mentioned. The end goal is at that you’ll have a project car folder stuffed full of reference material that not only holds part numbers, diagrams, and invoices for later identification, but also a wealth of tech info on more critical parts.
