Winter Haven, Florida, 1950s

Floridians sure loved their Publix Markets, apparently. This is the second time we’ve highlighted a photo of a full parking lot in front of a Publix in the 1950s, and we certainly haven’t come across any vintage Kroger or Safeway parking lot shots (but one Big Bear!). While we’ve seen this photo all over the Internet, Visual Ephemera lists the original source as the Lakeland Florida Public Library. What do you see here?
