Washington, D.C., 1962
Most of the cars in this Marion Trikosko photo of the parking that was available in front of the U.S. Capitol in March 1962 – which we came across on the Library of Congress’s photo archive – obscure the other cars’ license plates, but it’s a fairly good bet that the cars came from all over the country, and given that the cherry blossoms aren’t yet on the trees at this time in D.C., the city has yet to be swamped with tourists. So what do you see here?
