Reader John Miles alerted us to this excellent photo from the U.S. Capitol’s archives posted to Flickr showing the Capitol’s parking lot during the Capitol dome’s 1959-1960 restoration. Not likely you’ll ever get to park that close to the Capitol ever again – at least, not without getting tackled and interrogated. What do you see here?
