Wait, what? A Citroën won a NASCAR race?

We know that a Tucker once ran in NASCAR, but this little piece of news beats that by a country mile. As Autoweek recently found out, a pair of Citroën ID-19s finished 18th and 19th overall in the Crown America 500, held June 1, 1958, at Riverside, which gave them first and second in their class. A feat we’re sure will never repeat.
