Vancouver, British Columbia, 1974

Stéphane Dumas pointed out this video in the comments to yesterday’s Chicago street scene post, and we thought it too cool. The concept: In 1974, a resident of Vancouver, British Columbia, strapped a camera to his bicycle, set the camera’s intervalometer to snap a frame at regular intervals, and then went for a ride around town. In 2011, he replicated the ride, taking pictures here and there to document how things have changed in 37 years, and added a Beetle count. Moves kinda quick for carspotting, but tell us what you see here.
