Another great image from the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s online archive is this shot that Al Lieberman shot in 1971 in a parking lot in Ukiah, California. We’re guessing little Johnny here accompanied his buddies to the grocery store for some after-school snacks and got assigned lookout duty while everybody else went inside. What do you see here?
