Top 9 275 Radial Warriors of NMCA

This past summer, the NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing Series and the Ford and Mustang series dubbed NMRA Keystone Drag Racing Series converged on Route 66 Raceway (Joliet, ILIllinois) for the Nitto Tire Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing. Easily one of the larger events in that genre of drag racing with over more than 600 entries, both sanctioning bodies compete on the same track, the same weekend. It draws racers from as far west as California and parts of Western western Canada and as far south as Texas and Florida. Both sanctioning bodies compete separately all weekend long and where racers are crowned in the 21 different classes between the two groups. The NMRA/NMCA officials pair up equivalent category winners for a Team NMRA and Team NMCA challenge. For example, the Modular Muscle class races Nostalgia Super Stock winner, a clash in style with high-tech modern muscle cars racing against the nostalgia rides of the 19‘60s.
