The models of the Fisher Body Craftsman’s Guild reunion

Photos courtesy Howard Shubitz.
While the Fisher Body Craftsman’s Guild reunion took place last January, there’s never a bad time to peruse photos of the models that guild members brought to the reunion for display. Fortunately, reader Howard Shubitz took in the reunion and snapped plenty of photos of the various teenage dream cars from the 1950s through the 1970s. While the display exuded retrofuturism, it’s interesting to see how concepts of futuristic automobiles – as viewed through the eyes of teenage boys – evolved throughout the midcentury period.
We’ve highlighted a few below, but for more, check out Howard’s photos on Google Plus.
