the longest overdue Musclepalooza photo yet
The end of the year is always a good time to surf through your desk drawers in an effort to clean up and prep for the new year, right? And in doing so, I came across a dozen or so photos I took at Musclepalooza I, waaaaay back in 2004, and waaaaay back before I had an idea of how to shoot cars. The colors, which look straight out of 1976, actually came out that way due to a light leak in my old film camera or some old film in that old film camera – either way, the film camera has sat unused since then.
But the reason I chose this photo was, duh, because it depicted a Motion Super Vega, which none of us really knew existed at the time. As I found out later in the day, this was a clone of a real Super Vega, but it was darn convincing. And we haven’t seen it show up at another Musclepalooza since then.
Perhaps it needs to appear at one of the two 2009 Musclepaloozas, at which time I can make up for this poor picture? Of course, should that happen, I may forget to post it until 2014…
