The Lonestar Round Up – where rust and patina ain’t a deterrent

It’s springtime in Central Texas, and that means the Lonestar Round Up has convened in Austin for a hot rod weekend. The show brings builders, musicians, artists, vendors and fashionable gearheads from all parts together for a truly original gathering. On the show field were an assortment of hundreds of American customs and original cars in an informal atmosphere, with live music that spilled over into events and parties spread around Austin. We stopped by this weekend to take it all in and share photos of the participant cars and swap meet finds.
