The King and I

In response to yesterday’s post from Litwin featuring the classic ad with the #43 Plymouth, Gary Faules sent us this note:

I thought you might enjoy these and possibly might want to post tem with the recent post. My good friend Curtis Farmer was the cousin of the legendary Curtis Turner and having grown up in the south with them he was fortunate to have gone to many of the early races with them and other legends of the day. Here are a few photos of him with the Pettys including one of my friend Curtis sitting with none other than the King Petty himself.
