Football? Where’s the barbecues? The beer coolers? The big-screen TVs? The bare chests painted in team colors? The Penn State Special Collections photostream on Flickr calls this a tailgating party, but it looks like a dud. Maybe the tailgating’s just getting started – we do see a bunch of trunks open, after all – and gametime isn’t for another few hours. Or maybe this is the parking section for those squares from (insert rival football team here). What do you see here?
