South Chicago, 1941
Back to the Charles Cushman collection for today’s street scene, taken April 25, 1941, overlooking the ore docks of the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corporation in South Chicago. According to the info with the photograph, he took the shot from East 90th Street, so presuming he was at the far end of 90th, that location is now a park. Carspotters, tell us what you see in the photo.
