SIA Flashback – Single Owner Salute

Perhaps the most entertaining part about Robert Gross’s story on people who still had collector cars that they bought new for SIA #186, November 2001, is reading all the reasons why they chose to get the cars in the first place (or, in the case of the Pontiac owner above, how they didn’t choose it) and why they held on to the cars over the decades. Sometimes it’s out of love, sometimes it’s out of duty, and sometimes it’s simply the default option.
