SIA Flashback – Restoration Profile: 1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner

Just as the prior issue of SIA introduced the Driveable Dream to the Hemmings repertoire, the February 2003 issue (SIA #193) introduced the Restoration Profile, an in-depth look at how an at-home restorer – in this case owner Ted Ciufo – transformed his car – in this case a 1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner with the much-desired plexiglass roof insert – from a neglected pile of parts into a shiny show-winning classic.
