SIA Flashback – Double Play: The Utilitarian Beauty of Chevrolet’s 1938 Coupe-Pickup
El Camino’s granddad? It doesn’t have a dedicated bodystyle, but the 1938 Chevrolet Master coupe-pickup that Arch Brown and Bud Juneau tracked down for SIA #183, May 2001, does incorporate a pickup bed by removing the trunklid and sliding it into the trunk area.
