It’s been long enough now since World War II that many people simply believe that all car sales halted and that all 1942 cars were blackout models. Not so, as we read in the story that Arch Brown (who was around at the time and thus able to give a first-person account) wrote on a still-chromed, sold-after February 1942, 1942 Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan for SIA #149, September 1995.
