SIA Flashback – 1928 Martin: Plainly Aerodynamic
While Bud Juneau’s facts in his story about the Martin Aerodynamic for SIA #165, May 1998, were a little off or incomplete (Martin did build other cars), he at least made a good effort at placing the car into context, noting how radically different it appeared compared to other cars on the road in the late 1920s and how it predated almost all of the better-known inter-war attempts at building a car on aerodynamic principles. Nowadays it resides in the Lane Motor Museum‘s collection.
