1926 Franklin

In the mid-1920s, the air-cooled Franklin nearly adopted the look of the Duesenberg Model A, thanks in part to Franklin mega-dealer Ralph Hamlin. However, thanks to another man, J. Frank de Causse, the Franklin went along its own independent styling course from then on. Walter E. Gosden tells the tale in SIA #58, August 1980.
