SEMA Sneak Peak: The Ringbrothers’ Twin-Turbo 1948 “Madam V” Cadillac #TENSEMA16

Published by Mike on

Jim and Mike Ring have kept their lips tight about Madam V, the newest build from the Wisconsin-based Ringbrothers! They’ve brought their eye for melding modern performance and styling with vintage sheet metal to a 1948 Cadillac Series 62.

The Madam V gets its name from the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V chassis underneath, featuring Cadillac’s 464 hp, 3.6L twin-turbo V6 and 8-speed automatic. There’s about 7,500 man hours of work in Madam V, chopping up two ATS-Vs to lengthen one chassis 14 inches while also incorporating modern Cadillac V-series styling cues, like the ATS-V’s mesh grille and hood extractor. The Ringbrothers also used carbon-fiber in the custom fenders, bumpers, and hood, with carbon details found throughout the build.

Madam V will be officially unveiled in the Flowmaster booth (#22351) in the Central Hall on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. PST.
