Scottsdale preview: Boatorhome, Berkeley

Two more Arizona auctions that we’ve yet to preview, Kruse and Silver, both offer something worth taking a look at, if the information about those somethings is lacking. At Kruse, for example, we see a 1985 Ford Boatorhome, being offered at no reserve. As the Boatorhome website describes it, “On land it’s a comfortable, smooth-riding motorhome. On the water it’s an exciting, action-packed cruiser.” Yes, that’s right – drive your RV right into the lake. Brilliant? Insane? You decide.

Appearing rather normal in comparison is the 1959 Berkeley roadster on the docket for Silver. It sure takes something special to make an air-cooled, front-drive tyke-sized sports car seem special normal.
