What’s cooler than looking at well-restored old cars? Driving them, naturally. The Saratoga Automobile Museum’s big spring car show next month includes its traditional kickoff event, the Collector’s Tour, which ranges across eastern New York for adventures in driving and dining. This year’s tour takes place on Friday, May 15, with participants heading to New Hartford, New York, where they’ll encounter the collection of Alan Rosenblum, a gathering of pristine cars encompassing nameplates from Bugatti to Duesenberg.

Luncheon will be at Piggy Pat’s BBQ, an esteemed location in Utica, and participants will also be able to visit the Munson-Williams-Proctor Art Institute in Utica before heading about 100 miles back to Saratoga Springs. You’ll need reservations to take the ride, which run $85. You can make yours by visiting SaratogaAutoMuseum.com, where you can also pre-register your car for the big show the following day. Pre-registration is $15, which will climb to $20 on the day of the show.
