San Francisco, 1966

For today’s street scene, we’ll go back again to the Charles Cushman collection. Sure, we may hit it up quite a bit, but the photos that Cushman took just work so well with our street scene series. Take, for example, this July 1966 shot of San Francisco’s Market Street, shot looking northeast from Fourth Street. The photo’s got it all – street cars, city buses, cars from the Fifties and from the Sixties, readily identifiable buildings, and even a Falcon for Art Fink. What do you see here, carspotters?
