Years ago, Car Craft was responsible for testing and modifying new V8 cars from the Big Three. To make things interesting, we’d pass the car off to notable local clubs for evaluation and sometimes even track testing. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the modern Hemi, we present this photo of the first 426 Hemi-equipped press car that CC tested. The car is a ’66 Dodge Coronet convertible and the club was the L.A. Roadsters.
