The message then and now was to get off the couch and realize you can go fast, look good, or both with a little ingenuity instead of a lot of cash. For inspiration, we present this unseen photo of regular guys fielding a wicked Hemi dragster with no sponsor, big rig, helicopter pad, or anything else you think you might need to go racing.
