In this case this 1970 Dodge Charger R/T HEMI was worth pursuing. Mr. James Clark of Morgantown NC was the original owner of this car and he loved it. He kept it absolutely spotless inside and out. It was his pride and joy and his family knew it.Tim Wellborn first discovered this car around 1990. Every year for 33 years he would call Mr. Clark and pleasantly ask if it was for sale. Each time he got the same answer “No son it’s not for sale.” Mr. Clark eventually visited the Wellborn Musclecar Museum and loved it. He said to Tim that this is where he wanted his car to go after he passed. Around 2020 Tim got a phone call from Mr. Clark’s daughter honored to sell her late father’s prized HEMI into the Wellborn collection.
