Feeding the hype beast: New trailers released for “Rush” and “Snake & Mongoose”

It’s shameless promotion, yes, but really, how many of you don’t care at all that two car-guy movies will hit theaters within a couple weeks of each other this September? We’ve already written about both Ron Howard’s “Rush” and “Snake & Mongoose,” but with new trailers for both films coming out this week, the similarities between the two (competing racers come to mutual respect and admiration, set in the Seventies, and plenty of sex – so, you know, your typical Hollywood formula) become a lot more apparent.
