Signal Shield, a one-off concept from Nissan Great Britain, is essentially a faraday cage built into the armrest of a Nissan Juke crossover. Inspired by the growing problem of distracted driving Signal Shield kills all cellular, WiFi, and Blootooth signals when a phone is placed inside and the lid is closed. Open the compartment lid and the phone will resume normal use.
