Point Loma, California, 1972

From Jovial Bailey, a reader of our Facebook page, comes today’s carspotting photo, which he tells us was taken in June 1972 in Point Loma, California, obviously somewhere on the naval base and on the east side of the peninsula, facing Coronado. The broad variety of cars and trucks in the photo – some of them older, some of them on the less expensive side – suggest this wasn’t no officers’ parking lot. What do you see here?
