Philadelphia, 1975

Besides the entertainment value, one purpose behind our street and parking lot scene series is to show the collector cars we love and adore in their natural setting, being used as everyday transportation. That means occasionally seeing them in inclement weather, as is the case with this rainy March 1975 shot of the Progress Plaza shopping center parking lot in Philadelphia that we found on the Temple University Libraries archives. What do you see here, obviously not melting in the rain?
