Omaha, Nebraska, 1962

Today’s carspotting photos come from the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Flickr page, which has provided some great images in the past. Unlike those photos, however, these August 1962 photos go off-campus, into downtown Omaha, full of traffic and congestion, perfect for our purposes. Above, we see parking along 17th Street, looking north toward Jackson, and below, we believe we see the corner of 16th and Dodge from a couple of angles – note the Barkalow’s smoke shop in the background of the bottom shot.
