North Adams, Massachusetts, 1955

The hairpin turn on the Mohawk Trail outside nearby North Adams, Massachusetts, has made for an excellent postcard/snapshot scene for many decades and provides today’s street scene, courtesy Retro World. From a quick scan of the photo, we’re figuring it was taken no earlier than 1955, though we invite our intrepid carspotters to see if they can identify the cars in the scene and prove us wrong.
