Nogales, Sonora, 1959

Returning to the Charles W. Cushman Collection, and more specifically, to Cushman’s fondness for travel, we see that he spent a little time south of the border – specifically Nogales, Sonora – where he snapped this picture on February 24, 1959. According to Cushman, he shot the image looking north on Avenida Obregoa from Calle Diaz, though we believe he may have been actually been looking west. What do you see here?
