New York City, 1960s
It’s said that New York City is one of the worst places in the world – if not the worst – to own a private car, so it’s no surprise that these two rainy-day 1960s photos looking down on the intersection of Lexington Avenue and East 51st Street, which we found on the Photos from the 1950s Flickr stream, show service vehicles almost exclusively.
Also, completely unrelated, tank. With bears.
