Who was Johnny? We don’t know, but this Charles L. Franck photo from the Historic New Orleans Collection depicts his used car lot on the 1800 block of Canal Street in December 1960. A quick Google Street View check shows that the buildings – and even the tree – are still there, but the car lot isn’t. What do you see here?
