Mustang Project Cars and Fixer Uppers from Foxtoberfest

Fox Fords come in all shapes, sizes and color. They come in the form of Mustangs, Fairmonts, Thunderbirds, LTDs, Mercury Zephyrs, Mercury Capris, Mercury Cougars, and more. At this stage of their lifespan some of them are multi-colored, and many times they boast just the right amount of patina for the character you don’t get with a finished car. Be it oxidation, gel-coat cowl hoods, mis-matched body panels, or primer paint, when it comes to Fox Fords, these traits don’t detract from their attraction.

When it comes to in-progress builds, not many shows are as accepting as the annual Foxtoberfest, held by Fox Mustang Restoration at Intimidators Stadium in Kannapolis, North Carolina. We compiled a list of in-progress builds, or what we think of when it comes to cars in the process of being given new life. Every Fox car can be improved, but these are cars needing a little love to be perfect. If your car is pictured, and you are done with its build, please forgive us for calling it “in-progress.”
