Muscle village, 1980

We’ve seen these photos floating around the Internet for a while and have traced them back to Blog dos Carros Antigos, which didn’t note the ultimate source of the photos or where they were taken, only that they were taken in 1980. We figure somewhere out West, given the ARCO gas station across the street from the dealership. It’s a fascinating look at the lost years of American muscle cars, in the years after their heyday but before the first muscle car collector craze of the 1980s. What do you see here? And does anybody know where this dealership was?
