Mecum will take its traveling show to a new stop in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, next year, filling a gap left by the auction house’s decision to no longer host a sale in Des Moines, Iowa.

Scheduled for July 24-26, the newest Mecum auction will be held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center, which boasts nearly 1 million square feet of indoor floor space. “People have been asking for years when we would host an auction on the East Coast,” said Dana Mecum, president and founder of Mecum Auctions. “We’re excited to reach a great community of classic and collector car fans that have long been there.” The three-day sale is expected to draw 1,000 cars and will open for consignments in February.

Mecum has also scheduled another new auction later in the year, this one for December 11-13 in Austin, Texas. Details on that auction have yet to be released.

Mecum’s 2014 schedule now includes 12 classic and collector car auctions as well as four vintage tractor auctions. The Wisconsin-based auction company has also announced that it’s dipping its toe into yacht auctions.
