Manila, Philippines, 1950s

Looks like our time on the run is almost up, but not before we make a stop in Manila sometime in the 1950s, thanks to photographer Harrison Forman and the American Geographical Society Library. Specifically, we’re on Escolta Street, which at the same time couldn’t look more different or the same as how it appears today. What do you see here?
