Madison, Wisconsin, 1960s

The Wisconsin State Journal’s photo of State Street in Madison, Wisconsin, as seen from the state capitol (which we found via Roger Wilkerson’s blog) might be one of the most street scene-y street scenes we’ve yet featured. Plenty of traffic up and down the street, plenty of curbside parking, buses, trucks, signage, and people ambling about. But when exactly was the photo taken? Maybe we can narrow that down a bit by finding the newest vehicle in the photo.
