Stock car race? No, not quite; just another day on a Los Angeles freeway. We came across these two photos of Harbor Freeway between Pico and Washington boulevards, dated July 1958, on the USC Libraries Digital Collections, and even though the collection notes pretty much the exact location, we’re hard pressed to pinpoint it in modern-day Los Angeles due to the vast changes to that interchange over the years. What do you see here?
