LAX, 1972

Yes, we’re back at LAX again for today’s street scene, taken in the summer of 1972 as vacationers mobbed the airport, both coming and going. The photo, courtesy the Los Angeles Public Library‘s online photo archive, shows the wide variety of cars that we’ve come to expect from Southern California street scenes and, surprisingly, just two Beetles.
