LAX, 1960s
Why do we keep coming back to photos of Los Angeles International Airport? Not so much for the space-agey Theme Building – though it is cool – but because of the abundant open-air parking that once surrounded it and the variety of cars that filled those lots. This mid-1960s photo that we came across on Dave S.’s Flickrstream fits right in with those LAX photos we’ve already featured and throws in a few waiting taxis to boot. What do you see here?
