Las Vegas, 1950s, part 2

The last time we dug through the UNLV Digital Libraries photo archive, we came across a nice color photo of the front of the old Flamingo, and today we see another photo of the same facade and parking lot, taken at about the same time, maybe a year or two earlier. Is there any place left in las Vegas today to just lounge on some lush green grass like this? What do you see here?
