La Carrera Panamericana 2013 – completo
Fittingly, given how much rain they saw at the beginning of the race, rain had wetted the streets of Zacatecas as this year’s La Carrera Panamericana contestants rolled across the finish line. Though the cars look no worse for the wear in Steve’s photos here, it took plenty of wrenching and late-night repairs to get many of them here.
And some of them had to cross the finish line, no matter what.
Conrad Stevenson’s Alfa managed 21st overall, but a first in Historica A Plus.
And as Steve noted, anybody who finished is a winner. About 62 of the 80-plus competitors in this year’s race appeared able to do so.
But at the end of the day, even though Hilaire Damiron and Elizabeth Tejada in the No. 115 Studebaker edged them out for the day’s best time, Gabriel Perez and Ingacio Rodriguez in the No. 122 Studebaker won this year’s race. For full race results, visit LaCarreraPanamericana.com.mx.
