Kenosha, Wisconsin, 1970s
The MacWhyte Company in Kenosha, Wisconsin, apparently found several decades of success producing high-strength wire cables, continuing until the latter years of the 20th century. From one of those successful decades (and courtesy the University of Wisconsin’s Digital Collections) comes this photo of the MacWhyte Company parking lot, above, and the parking lot at some company function, below, giving us a glimpse of what MacWhyte employees drove.
