Mmmm, Alaskan salmon. Funny that the citizens of Juneau, Alaska, put that Salmon Derby sign where they did, at the intersection of Franklin and Front, where cars immediately had to start swimming upstream, as it were, to climb the Franklin Street hill. This photo of the intersection by Elisabeth Meyer, which Norway’s Preus Museum posted to Flickr, doesn’t include an exact date, so let’s see if we can narrow it down by identifying the cars in the photo.
