Houston, 1968

According to TexasFreeway.com, where we came across this 1968 photo of a Texas freeway – Houston’s Southwest Freeway at Chimney Rock Road – the backup we see was caused by a freeway closure, and looking in the distance, we see that the overpass is bare, which means they must be funneling all this traffic down the offramp. Looks like fun. Their misery equates to our joy, however, as the traffic jam provides some excellent carspotting. What do you see here?
